Thank you Tracy. (Now I just need the postman to bring me back Tracy's box so that I can do more, add more, make it MORE, so that it compares in some small way to the wonderful treasures that I received today.
Well, no words are ever going to sufficiently express my thankfulness and admiration for all the hard work Tracy enclosed into this box , I think I'll let you see for yourselves- so, here we go!

Layouts!

Here are four, one page layouts I did for swaps on the Cricut Messageboard. My friend Jen Young http://www.youngsscrapping.blogspot.com/ hosted the swap this first layout was for. When someone 'flaked' I 'angled' which means I stepped in at the last minute when some one else didn't fulfill the obligation. I normally scrap in 2 page layout so I included and extra sheet of matching scrapbook paper so that they would be able to use it to tie in another page if they wanted. I used my Wild Card cartridge on this page. Looking at it now it seems a little bare the photo mats would look better with a mat under them.....

The little inchies were created using a set 3D stickers I got at the Provocraft Factory Outlet for not too much- gotta love those deals!

Even though this layout is rather simple I like it, I think it works, it's hard to see but the paper is all 4 wheeling sayings... The theme for this swap was masculine.

Coffee Colar Mini Album

Once again I am drawing on my work from the Gibbs 2 swap. The day 7 challenge was a coffee collar album. I found this Mocha Gourmet cookie mix an thought it would go well with the coffee themed album I chose to create. My partner knowing I didn't drink coffee made me a beautiful album and put different teas in it. Here is a link so you can check it out. http://www.cricut.com/messageboard/tm.aspx?m=5280360&mpage=849&key= Go to post 16975 for the coffee collar album, each of those folders of tea was in a pocket. Take a minute and check out all the other beautiful creations she made for me and also what the other crafters created. Everybody interpreted the challenge a bit different I choose to do a coffee themed little book. I thought the different collars were interesting and choose to leave the advertising art visible.
I included coffee trivia, history and recipes as well as a coffee sample that came in the mail...

I Gibbs 1 (I wasn't in that round) they were challenged to make a toilet paper roll album. What interesting thing can you think of to alter?

Cards

This is one of the first cards I ever created. I used some Martha Stewart thank you cards I bought inexpensively at Big Lots, I really liked the lacy border. ( I still have a bunch of the cards so you will probably see them again! This is my first Christmas card....... I did the design file myself on Cricut's Design Studio, the tree is off the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge.
I think Dustin Pike has some fun digi stamp designs, this marshmallow Santa is one of his and I made this card for a Dustin Pike card swap on the Cricut message board. In case you want to check out Dustin here is a link to has blog. http://dustinpike.blogspot.com/

Her is another Christmas card I made using a roll of stickers I bought at Big Lots, quite awhile ago.

And this card was one I made using the Simply Sweet Cricut cartridge.

As you can see, I have a long way to go when it comes to cards, but, I am enjoying the journey.

A Box for Their Items.....

Something that is traditional in the Gibbs swap, is a box to hold their items in. There is a lot of variety is the boxes that get sent, but, I wanted to make something Cammi would find helpful and since I know she makes a lot of cards I decided on a box for her cards. I found a commercially created card box at the thrift store, it was all light turquoise-y blues and since I knew Cammi already had some black and white storage in her scrap room I set out to transform this box into something that would fit into her decor.
I covered up all the blues with black and white paper that I bought at Tuesday Morning, it has a month theme. Then I created file folders she could use to file her cards I left them blank so that she could adapt them to her own system and I also included a birthday and special event perpetual calendar that she could keep track of important dates and names in.

I also used white lace and black ribbon to give it some finer details.

It's a Dogs Life.....

This is our little dog William Rufus H. the newest member of our family-

In his honor I recently joined an 8 x 8 layout swap with a dog theme. This is actually the third dog themed layout swap I have been in with the same hostess on the Cricut Message Board. Originally, I joined thinking that I would create some albums for the pet lovers in my life but, now we have Willie I think they'll have to share.

Here are the layouts I created for some previous dog layout swaps I was in-

The hostess is, scrapNbutterfly and here is a link to her current swap.

A Few More Examples of "chies"

Can you believe these tiny little cave men fit on a one inch square piece of card stock?

These inchies are made using clear quilter template material, from the quilting department a JoAnns and the little bugs are stamped with staz-on ink. I love how they turned out. The paper strip at the bottom is to show the translucent quality they have.

And Now For Something A Little Bit Different!

These are examples of twinchies, two inch decorated squares, there are also inchies, 1 inch, and trinchies, 3 inch decorated squares.

I did several swaps involving "chies". They can be used just about anywhere you need a cute litte decoration.

I hand cut each of these little guys. They are layered on two matts an then white card stock.

BOO!

This is my first attempt at a banner, it was also made for the Gibbs 2 swap on the Cricut message board. The swap consisted of a list of 25 ideas that you created something for each of the 25 plus you created a box for your partners items. The theme was set up to take you though out the year.
